PUBLIC MANNERS

SAN CLEMENTE

1 HR / 2 HR

$110 / $195

This is a private, one on one session with our head trainer Ryan Furlet. Public Manners sessions are held in beautiful San Clemente, where Ryan will accompany you on a high stimulus walk through the city or down the beach trail. During the walk, Ryan will address any specific issues you're having with your pup's behavior while your dog gets acclimated to the distractions that come with busy streets, cafes, and new dogs/people.

A one hour session is great for just getting your feet wet or for a tune up while a 2 hour session is recommended for deeper issues such as aggression or reactivity

GOOD CITIZEN

SAN CLEMENTE

1 HR CERTIFICATION

$135

Our approach to every class we offer is to equip the dog and the pet parent with the skills necessary to pass the Canine Good Citizens test. Whether you go through all three group training levels or wish to learn privately in a one-on-one scenario, all classes are geared towards passing all 10 skills:

  1. Accepting a friendly stranger

  2. Sitting politely for petting

  3. Appearance and grooming

  4. Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)

  5. Walking through a crowd

  6. Sit & down on cue and stay in place

  7. Coming when called

  8. Reaction to another dog

  9. Reaction to distraction

  10. Supervised separation

Everyone learns in their own time, dogs and humans too. There is no rush to the process, let the main focus be building your confidence as the pet parent and that the pup is happy in his handlers leadership.
