RYAN FURLET
Born in Chicago, Ryan lived the first 13 years of his life in the city... In middle school, he moved to San Clemente where he currently resides and has served the local beach community since he was a teen. He lived a normal teenage life, enjoying the ocean, time with family & friends, and especially dogs.

Working with dogs was what Ryan always knew he wanted to do, and no matter what, he was dedicated to his dream. He started working for PetSmart teaching their basic obedience class at the age of 15 and was soon running their biggest behavioral training program. He then moved on to assisting with Rangers and Marines and their working dogs. His niche could be considered integrating rescue/working dogs back into society.

Ryan takes every opportunity to give back including volunteering with the teens at the Noble Path Foundation, teaching a group of girl scouts about safe play with dogs/body language/boundaries, as well as connecting with local rehabs to bring therapy dogs to those in recovery programs. He is extremely humbled to have been named "San Clementean" in the Summer 2025 SC Journal.
