GROUP CLASSES
If you are looking to socialize your dog or wish you could rely on their skills in a high stimulus environment, our group classes are a great opportunity for you.
All students will practice obedience under the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen guidelines.
Group classes are brought to you in collaboration with the city of San Juan Capistrano starting in June, & will be held at Acu Canyon Park on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

PUPPY
GROUP CLASS
$300
4 1hr sessions
This class will have you walking in step with your new furry family member. By learning your dogs body language, you further unveil their divine personality. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to raise a pup. In this class we build our connection, trust, & foundational obedience; while creating community and friends to last a lifetime. This class covers:

BEGINNER
GROUP CLASS

This class is designed for the dog who is older than 6 months and has never had any formal obedience training. This course will help teach you how to lead your companion whether they have known you for years or came into your life just yesterday. This class covers:

INTERMEDIATE
GROUP CLASS

4 1hr sessions
This class is for the more experienced handler and for dogs who already have a foundation in obedience. To build on to their skillset, we will be adding the three “D’s” to this course: Distance, Duration and Distraction. This class covers:

ADVANCED
GROUP CLASS
$300
4 1hr sessions
This class will benefit the highly experienced handler who wants their dog to become an official Canine Good Citizen for the American Kennel Club. This course will prepare the handler/companion team with the required skills to pass their exam with confidence. This course covers:

The Ten Canine Good Citizen Skills

Fading the lure or need for treats

Walking through a crowd

3 minute out of sight Separation

Walking passed dogs without the need to greet

20+ft stay and 20+ft recall

CANCELLATION/
REFUND POLICY

If class is cancelled by the City, an automatic refund will be mailed to you within 3 to 4 weeks.
-
Register early or at least 1 week prior to the class starting date.
-
Classes will be subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met and may be changed or cancelled without public notice.
-
Notification must be received by the City seven days prior to the first class meeting for refund.
-
No refund requests will be accepted after current class session begins.
-
Unusual circumstances (relocation, medical reason with doctor's note) within the first 2 weeks of class.
-
Classes will not be prorated due to late enrollment or missed classes before or during current class session.
-
An administrative fee of $10 will be charged for all refunds, in addition to the fees for any classes attended.
